those face shots, when no one else is there to take your photos LOL, (besides setting the timer, but then you have to get the right angle to capture both of you)





I still find it weird approaching people to have them help take a photo for you. its just weird O_o

Gong li's Lips In Curse of the Golden Lotus

If anyone has seen this movie, Im sure you were amaze at the pretty golden colors the filmmakers did with the set.

Gong li's makeup artist is so talented that I try replicating Gong li's lips in one of the scene.



My Attempts with

*Smashbox Lip & Lid Primer (the lipstick will stay on for hours)
*Mary Kay Sunburst (the closest reddish, orangy lipstick I found)
*Revlon colorstay sheer lipliner in Coral (line the corner of your lips but make sure you blend it in along with your lipstick, just so your lipliner dont look harsh)
*Manly 120 eye shadow pallette (look below)



Make sure you use a nice lip brush and try patting the e.s onto the lip BUT just dont pat it onto the lipstick everywhere
the top lip should have a nice "V" golden tint, while the bottom is vice versa.

anyways this was my attempt.

Pink Purplish E.S

I was so bored at home, that I decided to try out a purplish pink look.


The contacts i had on was ColourVUE big eye cool blue (click here to go get yours too)

All I used was

UDPP (primer)
MAC pp Ochre (base)
Revlon Illuminance Wild Orchids (all light colored ones)
Manly 120 pallette (see below photo for the ones I had picked)
Avon uplifting mascara





I lightly threw these on my face

Revlon golden affair Merlot (cheekbones)
loreal hip bronzing (below the cheekbones)
MARK candy stripes coloris bonsbons (lipgloss)


Anyways as you can see my eyebrows are still bushy, im trying to grow them out so i can try this out

I bought the first one to the left, its for neutral skin tones.

In the photos it look so small, but i was surprise to see how big it was.

I tried two of the colors from the chinese makeup pallete. it looks pretty light compared to how it looks on the pallette, very glittery





the lipstick is from Mary Kay Sunburst

Today is my bf's bday, so i need to quickly find a nice black and orange color look

sorry Tina i've been procrasinating about sending these to you, but i might as well take photos of them and so you can get an idea of what you will do with them LOL.


The gold heart shape one is from a chinese brand name called Tailaimei
and the other pallete is from Aily
They both have pretty colors for blush and e.s

Anyways they all open up to all this, pretty cool how they can be very compact. I havent got a chance to try the quality of the e.s or blush, but somehow they remind me of the 120 pallette...


I'll probably try the colors out with my own pallette(the photos show's Tina's gift, but i have another one also)

Hopefully tina can do a review of em.

Note to Tina, im throwing away the Mascara, because it stinks! so dont be surprise when it arrives and that is missing LOL!
